Whitehouse Institute of Design/ Art Gallery of New South Wales

A four day Integrated Project was run in November, which entailed students from each specialisation, fashion, interiors and styling, collaborating to create installation pieces for the Art Gallery of New South Wales. These exquisite pieces were made from found and recycled materials, with body offering structural support. The theme “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”, based on the novel by John Berendt, was a perfect vehicle for examinations of scale, texture, emotion and high drama!

The studios were a wonderfully chaotic mess of high energy, creativity, clay, feathers, sticks and tombstones and great fun was had by all!

White Winter Collection for fashion stylist and final year design student Vanessa Cocchiaro. These shots are just one of many series to be exhibited at the Whitehouse Institute of Design Creative Direction Exhibition on November 12.

Most of the clothes in the shoot are designed by Whitehouse Institute of Design fashion students Charissa Lanham and Alyse Wright. Talk about talent in the Whitehouse.
